Weight loss: Natural Versions of Ozempic

By this point I’m pretty sure you have all heard about, seen a celebrity or even know a person who is taking Ozempic to lose weight. Ozempic is attractive to people in the sense that it’s easy and quick weightloss but how does it work?

  1. Specifics:

    1. In a class of drugs known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists

    2. Lowers blood sugar and A1C

    3. Curbs appetite

  2. Downside

    1. You lose fat but you also lose muscle (losing muscle makes it hard to burn fat naturally)

    2. Can cause digestive distress, hair loss, dizziness, and a whole host of issues

    3. You gain the weight back once you stop

So what can you do to gain the same benefits but without the side effects?

ALLULOSE

Allulose is a rare natural sugar but it acts in the body differently than Cane Sugar and far less calories (it tastes the same as sugar but 70% as sweet). Allulose works the same was in the body as Ozempic in multiple ways.

1. It balances blood sugar

2. It enhance the activity of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors

3. It increase the Satiety Hormone making you feel fuller longer

I personally use RxSugar Allulose daily in my tea and have seen a great improvement in my blood sugar stability, especially during pregnancy! I also highly recommend their “Swealthy Stix and Swealthy Snax” which are the perfect treat when you are having a sugar craving.

L-GLUTAMINE POWDER

L-Glutamine is known as the “intestinal carpenter” because it heals your intestinal lining it also greatly curbs sugar cravings. I recommend Thorne L-Gutamine capsules or powder and to take between 1-3g a day.

MRT LEAP FOOD SENSITIVITY TESTING

Nothing works better than knowing what foods are causing inflammation in your body specifically, and luckily there is a blood test for that! The LEAP Test checks 176 foods and chemicals to tell us exactly what foods are causing your body to be inflamed. Just some of symptoms could be: Water Retention (minimum 5-10 pounds), IBS, migraines, unexplained weight gain. See my Food Sensitivity Page for more specifics.

Maintaining your ideal weight doesn’t have to be a chore, with the right diet, exercise and a few supplemental modifications you can live freely in your ideal healthy body!
